Fall Hammer Camp

The Hammer Camp is back for its 5th year, the goal of this camp is to get AWA’s best mixing it up with the best around the state and nation with a high level coach leading the charge. This year we are lucky enough to have 2 awesome coaches running the camp. They will be University of Wisconsin Asst coach and NCAA Champion Jon Reader and UNI Assistant Coach Lee Roper! Last year we had athletes from 8 states which made for a fantastic camp and this year we are hoping to get the same.

Location: AWA Lake Country and AWA North Shore- Groups will be split by weight once camp sells out

When: September 28- 12:30-3pm and 4-6pm
September 29- 9:00am-11:30am

Who: For 8th graders and up. Please email ben@awawisconsin.com for an invite. Open to any and all.

What: Coach McDonough and Coach Roper will be putting these wrestlers through 2 tough practices to teach them about higher levels of training. Ben and Max Askren will also be running 1 of the practices

Ages: 8th grade and Up

Cost: $100- Out of town can either stay with parents in a hotel or we can look for AWA families for them to stay with.
